Bad Luck for Lakefield

Sad news for the Lakefield soccer team yesterday. Their star player, Tom Goode, was hurt in
the semi-finals of the regional championship. He was taken to a hospital with a broken leg.
We spoke to his coach, Rob Greene, last night. He said that it had been a bad break and that
Tom would be in hospital for the next three weeks.
The championship final is next Saturday, so Greene has to decide quickly which player will
replace Goode. The coach will probably make his decision in the next couple of days.
Fans sent flowers to the hospital where Goode is being looked after. He thanked
his fans on social media.
