1. Description of the Barangay:

1. Barangay Cudal is the biggest/smallest Barangay in the Municipality/City of Tabuk in the province of
Kalinga. It has a land area of __________. It composed of11 sitios namely: Sitio Maggabbangon,Sitio
Cogawe, Sitio Mallong,Sitio Balabal, Sitio San Isidro, Sitio Angalipan,Sitio Daram, Purok 1, Purok 2, Purok
3, Purok 4

2. Barangay Cudal is characterized by rolling hills (it depends) and suited for planting Tress,Corn,Palay, The
dialect or language spoken are Gad’dang.

3. Demographic Profile:

Based on the latest Census of Population 2020, Barangay Cudal is populated by


3755(number of people) where 1,888 are male and 1,867 are female. The table below
shows that children comprise about ___ percent of the total population. Many of the
residents come from neighboring municipalities and from other provinces.

4. Functionality of the Barangay Council for the Protection of Children (BCPC)

1. The BCPC of Barangay Cudal is functional based in the assessment in 2021. The BCPC has developed a
Barangay Action Plan for Children with specific budget, has developed ordinances for children, is able to
submit Accomplishment Reports regularly, and has indicators demonstrating concrete results for children.

2. The BCPC of Barangay Cudal is functional based on the assessment in 2021. The BCPC has developed a
Barangay Action Plan for Children with specific budget but is not being implemented as planned. There is
no mechanism established at the barangay to monitor and evaluate the plan since the BCPC does not meet
regularly. It was noted that there are no regular accomplishment reports being submitted based on the
BCPC plan.

5. Budget of the Barangay for BCPC

The Table below shows the budget allocation of the Barangay Cudal for the BCPC activities
based on the provisions of the law. From 2020 to 2022, the budget for BCPC appears to be
increasing (or decreasing as the case maybe. Delete this if increasing).

SUMMARY OF STATEMENT PROBLEM

Since 2020 there is no recorded cases of children with the law Barangay, and the budget
of 2020 they are not turn over.
