Before my eyes, a graceful delight. Now Eid has come, a time of grace, I extend my hand, seeking embrace.
Crossing oceans, traversing lands,
Flying far from Italy's sands. Grandparents' faces bright with glee, Children and grandchildren return, you see
In stylish baju kurung, beautifully arrayed,
The whole family shines, joy portrayed. Amidst the festive morning's cheerful array, Eid greetings exchanged, in a heartfelt display.
As you lay down and drift into sleep,
Ensure you awaken with the dawn, don't be meek. If mistakes were made, if wrongs arise, Don't let them soar, forgiveness is wise. 1st Poem
Playing with firecrackers while dancing,
In the dark, catching fish, entrancing. We align our ten fingers in a bind, Mistakes and faults, forgiveness we find.
Striking the drums in diverse rhythms,
Abundant joy, merry anthems. Many flock on Eid's festive tide, Radiant smiles, kin side by side
As we arrive at the season of celebration,
Many indulge in shopping with elation. On Hari Raya, forgiveness is exchanged, Eid greetings, forgiveness, our pledge, not estrange. From the Stonyhurst Family
Ramadan's light fades,
Eid comes near, Forgiveness sought from every fairy, May our bond stay strong and clear, In hearts forever, without fear.
