CSU Lasam now tuition fee free

Cagayan State University (CSU) Lasam provides financial assistance program for
them to help the students pay smaller amount of money for the pupils’ tuition
monthly.
According to Janilete R. Cortez, Campus Academic Coordinator, the Financial
Assistance program came from the Republic Act (RA) No. 10931 or the universal
access to quality tertiary education act for state College and Universities.
“This project of the CSU Lasam came from the RA No. 10931 or the universal
access to quality tertiary education act for state College and Universities,” Cortez
said.
Furthermore, Tertiary Education Subsidy (TES) beneficiaries at CSU Lasam
Campus get 40,000 pesos per year as an additional benefit to financially needy
students.
Furthermore, Cortez also mentioned that students can also loan up to 2,000
pesos and payable until 90 days with zero interest fee.
“The student loan program also provides loan assistance to bona fide students of
CSU. Students also can loan up to 2,000 pesos and payable until 90 days with zero
interest fee.
Moreover, she stated that everyone who reached with honors, with high honors
and with highest will get money in their respective rank.
“Students who reached with honors will get 500 pesos students that reached with
high honors will get 1,000 and with highest will get 2,000 pesos,” she said.
