certificates, awards, and training programs. Students are encouraged to be creative in the resume
format.

2. Conflict scenario analysis – 15% Due: May 27

In groups of four, analyze one of the conflict scenarios. Create a plan to help resolve the situation.
Include: the problem, the impact on those involved and the role they played, the anticipated resolution
and the steps to get there, and ways to prevent future similar situations. You may want to include
conflict resource links for your cohort. Each group will submit a written plan and briefly summarize their
scenario during class time.

3. Professional development presentation – 25% Due: June 10 & 17

In groups of two to four people, students will create a professional development presentation, using the
format and topic content of their choice. This presentation should be designed to present new
information to the cohort that has not previously been covered in course work. Presenters are
encouraged, where possible, to provide an opportunity for the audience to participate in the
presentation. Maximum length: 10 minutes.

4. Exit presentations: 25% Due: June 19

Students will complete a presentation, in the style of their choice (song, powerpoint, story telling, art

presentation may be helpful. The assignment should not include a chronology of what students did in
the program, but rather a reflection of their experience. Maximum – 3 minutes.

5. Class activities: 25%
