El Niño is a seasonal warming of the Pacific Ocean that upsets normal

weather patterns and is causing droughts in Northern Philippines. The
effects of drought can be severe and wide-ranging, impacting both the
natural environment and human populations in various ways.

Administration (PAGASA), said recent conditions and model forecasts
