What did you learn from reviewing work and presentations?

I learned that everyone’s situation is different

Edtech is a huge field

What would I do differently?

Before I started, I would have worked with more AI

I would have had my co-teachers work with AI more, but focus on correcting as well

I would have tried to begin the focus groups for edtech in my school, which start in November,
earlier

What was the most important thing you learned?

I wouldn’t say 1 thing. I learned a lot about different types of technology. One of the most
important things, though, is collaborating. I learned to collaborate with my cohort, and now through my
project, I will collaborate with my colleagues at work.

How might you use what you learned as an educator?

I will use many of the tech skills I learned in the future as an educator. I learned a lot of new tech
programs that I need to use now and in the future, like gimkit, curipod, nearpod, and others, especially
in AI like co-pilot and Bing AI.

Has the experience changed your definition of edtech?

Yes and no. I expected that edtech was a going to be about learning how to use technology in
the classroom, but I never expected that it would be so much about collaborating with one another.
Along with that, I didn’t know how vast the field of edtech was, and how much there still is to learn.
