up opportunities for leadership roles, higher-level positions, and increased earning potential
in the competitive job market.
Pursuing masters will help me to gain in depth knowledge and advanced skills on computer science
subjects like Dsa, machine learning and artificial intelligence which will help me to gain a reputed job
back in India as a role of software engineer, data analyst, software architect product manager in
various companies like TCS,WIPRO,ACCENTURE,INFOSYS. it aligns my passion and career goals
towards technology which will help me to take my parents in a good position

10) Why Usa Universities and not Indian Universities?

I have chosen USA to pursue my masters because it gives me practical exposure to the field
of my interest that is Data Science. The research work in US universities is really beneficial.
It helps in sharpening my skills. US degrees have global acceptance. The qualitative training
and techno-centric environment provides perfect ambience for growth. The courses in US are
known for flexibility. The cultural diversity of US universities provides cope for emotional
growth. The US degree has a great demand in Indian market. The practical Knowledge that is
acquired in US is of great help way back in India.
India has definitely some internationally renowned institutions like IITs. But they are very few. In
American universities the course has an industrial slant. In terms of diversity of student population,
the Indian universities cannot be compared with the US universities. The universities will have
students from all the five continents in the world. The flexibility of courses in US is great. The cutting
edge technologies used in US universities may not be found in Indian Universities. Last but not least,
the US degree enjoys a great popularity in Indian market.

11) Why are you going to this particular place in US?

I chose to study at George Washington University's Foggy Bottom campus because it offers a

Immigration

You look like potential immigrant or I don’t think you will come back to India?
“Sir, the career opportunities in my field in India are great. I am going to U.S for technical
knowledge and cross-cultural exposure. Moreover, I am from a well to do family and money
is not at all a criteria. In fact most of the U.S companies are turning to India due to recession.
Most of the Indian companies have tie ups with the U.S. companies, So I am certain that with
a degree from U.S. I will get an equivalent opportunity and pay packet in India.”

Your scores and academic background are very good. You are likely to get a good job in
America. Then why would you like to come back?
I am going to U.S with the purpose of study. I have no intention of staying back. Be
categorical in this. Build up your answer on the following points. Career opportunities in
India Monitory Benefits Social roots in India Property to be Inherited

How should I believe that you would come back to India after your Masters?
I am fulfilling all visa requirements. I had sufficient funds to meet all expenses of my higher
education. Will be coming back to India as soon as I complete my masters program. As I am
having certain goals in my life, and to pursue Masters Program in USA is one of it, for my
better future career prospectus. So I am confident of getting visa. Moreover, U.S degrees
have great value in Indian Market.

What are your Future Goals?

Officer, I have divided my future goals into 3 steps,
The first step would be to get a master’s degree in the field of data science.
Secondly, I would head back to India with all the technical knowledge and skills I have
gained during my masters, where I can now have the opportunity to become a data scientist in
top mncs like Wipro, Infosys etc.
Lastly, after getting some more exposure in the industry and understanding business
requirements, Id like to get into leadership roles.

Why master’s now?

• Officer, Since I just graduated, I only have a fundamental knowledge in various domains of
computer science, However, to further advance my career and broaden my knowledge in this
rapidly evolving field, pursuing a master’s degree will provide me with advanced theoretical
concepts, specialized technical skills, and a deeper understanding of analytics, databases, and
cloud systems. • By obtaining a master's degree, I will enhance my expertise as a data
scientist, opening doors to challenging opportunities and preparing me for future leadership
roles i.e. Project Manager, Delivery Manager etc.

Would you be opting for your OPT and CPT?

• Officer, My sole goal is to acquire diverse technical knowledge in various domains of data
science. • This will significantly enhance my career opportunities back in India, eliminating
the need for OPT or CPT. • I am focused on expanding my skill set to broaden my prospects
and contribute to the growing technology landscape in my home country //
Officer, since I don’t have any work experience, Once I’m done with my masters I would like
to opt for 1 year of my OPT, to get an industry exposure which would add to my resume and
enhance my career opportunities back in India as a Data Scientist .

2. What are your plans after graduation?

• Possess information on the field you are going to pursue.
• Your field is on a roll in India.
• Your field has great opportunities.
• You get these opportunities even now.
• You get better opportunities once you do your MS.
• Show that foreign companies are coming to India and investing in your filed.
• Start some technical words expressing the advancements in your filed.
• Make it seem this field won’t go ahead without guys like you.

Basic Data Analytics and Data Science Topics

1) How do you manage memory in python?

In Python, memory management is handled automatically through reference counting and
garbage collection. Reference counting tracks the number of references to an object,
deallocating memory when the count drops to zero. Garbage collection deals with circular
references, where objects reference each other in a loop. While Python manages memory
transparently, manual interventions like deleting references (`del`), using context managers
(`with`), or employing libraries such as `gc` may be necessary for optimization, especially in
handling large objects or long-running processes.

2) How does python accepts arguments whether by call by reference or call by value?
In Python, arguments are passed by object reference, rather than strictly by value or by
reference as in some other languages. When you pass an argument to a function, you're
actually passing a reference to the object in memory. This means that changes made to
mutable objects (like lists or dictionaries) within a function will affect the original object
outside the function, while reassigning a parameter to a new object inside the function won't
affect the original reference outside the function. Immutable objects (like integers or strings)
behave similarly, but reassigning a parameter to a new value inside a function creates a new
local reference, leaving the original reference unchanged outside the function. This behavior
is often referred to as "call by object reference."
