 Recloser remote open/close control

Group Number : Control Relay Output Blocks, Variation : 1
Request Function Codes supported: 3 (select), 4 (operate), 5 (direct operate)
Control Code supported : Close - 0x41h, Trip - 0x81h

If the On Time to close and open the recloser is not appropriate, operation may be failed due to
insufficient operation time. Thus, read the related manual provided by the manufacturer of recloser carefully
to set the On Time to at least the operation time. On Time is defined as the maximum holding time of
control output to open or close the main contact of the recloser.
The default Close Pulse of 90ms and Open Pulse of 70ms specified in 7.1.3 control time of the instruction
manual are applied to the On Time as an operating time to open or close the main contact of the recloser.

 Control and setting of other points

Group Number : Control Relay Output Blocks, Variation : 1
Request Function Codes supported: 3 (select), 4 (operate), 5 (direct operate)
Control Code supported : Close - 0x41h, Trip - 0x81h

The operation of points other than open and close points are not affected by the on time. Generally,
control is performed if on time is more than 0.

 It does not support any special code for latch. But, spare points which are on by pulse on command,
they keep on status until pulse off command via operating program or control panel operates.
Changed status would be applied equally when devices restart. Point status can be checked remotely
or locally through Obj:10, Var:2 Binary Output Status command.

Class : 0, 2, 3 class can be selected for analog input points. For Points supported by deadband report, refer to
deadband items on the table above. Points assigned in Class 0 does not occur, only static data are supported.

Deadband settings are available for all analogue points in remote or on site through the operating program. But,
information mentioned on the table above are only applied to deadband functions. Deadband events occur only
when point and event items are selected ‘available’.

Deadband : It is used to generate events for analog input points. Event data are generated at Analog Input Points
which have had changes in excess of the preset deadband values. Deadband values can be set individually for
points which support this Object. Event does not occur when deadband values become 65535 which is full range.

 Event occurrence by Deadband

Event Data occurs depending on the following conditions.

B = Recently occurred event data values
C = Newly occurred event data values
