Presenter: listeners it is good to have you join us on this edition of my culture my heritage it is a
15 minutes program that have been created to enlighten us on African Root and I promise you that you
are going to learn a lot from this. My name is Margaret Ola (your TV girlfriend) good morning and
welcome.

Sig tune and out completely (10sec)

Presenter: welcome back. (giving the background of the topic)

The African Root is varied and manifold, consisting of a mixture of counties with various
tribes depicting their unique characteristics and trait from continent of Africa.

African has numerous ethnic nationalities all with varying qualities such as language, dishes,
greetings, dressing, and dances. However, each of the regions of Africa shares a series of dominant
cultural trait which distinguish various African regional cultures from each other and such are social
values, religion, morals, etc. However, we are precisely going to talk and learn the culture, meals, mode
of dressing and many others about the Nupe in Niger State.

And that form the basis of our program, and with me here in the studio to discuss this is

Presenter: Now (guest 1) what should come to your mind whenever you hear of African Root? (2min)

Presenter: thank you for that opening guest 1 and to you (guest 2), as a Nupe indegene, can you
enlighten us more on the traditions and culture of the Nupe people which is perculia to them and which
make them different from that of others? (5min).
Presenter: okay, thank you so much for that wonderful enlightenment but sir/ma you know African
has influence and being influenced by other continents, by adapting to modern world rather than
staying rooted in their static culture. So tell us sir/ma is it possible that the Nupe culture can change in
the nearest future? If yes, how possible could that be?

Presenter: you stay tuned and watching the program my culture my heritage on the topic African Root
as we embark on a short break, to be back shortly (30sec).

The culture of a people is what marks them out distinctively from other societies. Therefore, we should
all keep to our culture which is our heritage and as well be proud of it rather than adapting to foriengn
culture and shying away from our own. And this is where we rap it for today's edition on the program
