A. Preliminary Activities

B. Motivation
The teacher will present a game activity called “Family Feud.” The class will
be divided into 2 groups. The teacher will serve as the host and ask random
questions. The group who will have the highest earn points will be the winner
and receive their prizes.
C. Lesson Proper
i. ACTIVITY
The students will have an activity called “Hunt and Name Me!”, the teacher
will display a picture on the screen or board, and it is consisting of random
pictures and pictures related to the topic. The students must look for the
components and materials which they think is related to the topic and will
try to name it.
ii. ANALYSIS
The teacher will ask the following questions to the students:
1. What do you think is our topic? (Elaborate)
2. What do you think are the function of each material? (Elaborate)
iii. ABSTRACTION
The teacher will discuss the following:
Definition of PCB etching
Components and materials use in etching
Process of PCB etching
Importance and value of PCB etching
iv. APPLICATION
There will be four groups formed from the class. Each group has to show off how to
etch PCBs. Each group will receive the necessary supplies from the teacher, who will
also make sure that safety precautions are taken. A group leader will be chosen by the
teacher, who will then present their actions. Group members are required to see and
discuss the PCB etching process. The teacher will select a group and discuss in the
class what are the process they take in etching. The activity will be guided by the
criteria below.

V. EVALUATION
The students will be given a 10-item quiz worth 10 points from the recently
discussed topic. The questions will be display on the screen and students will write
down their answers on a ¼ sheet of paper.
VI. ASSIGNMENT
The students will be given an assignment in which they are task to research about the other
processes of PCB etching in a ½ crosswise to be submitted next meeting. The assignment will
be guided by the following criteria below.
