Subject: OFFER OF APPOINTMENT TO THE POST OF INSPECTOR

CI-:STOMS/ INTELLIG ENCE OFFICERS (BS.16) IN THE CUSTOMS
DEPARTMENT UNDER FEDERAL BOARD OF REVENUE

Consequent upon the recommendation of the Federal Public Service

Commission, Islamabad conveyed vide letter No. F.4- l512019-R(FS-IV) dated 18.07.202i.
Mr. Aftab Ahmed. Rotl No. 124034. r,r,ho has fumished medical fitness certificate is offered
appointment of the post of Inspector Cusloms/ Intelligence Officer (BS-16) in the Pakistan
Customs Department under Federal Board of Revenue, Islamabad.

2. The terms and conditions of appointment are briefly as follow:-

i) The new incumbent Inspector Customs / Intelligence Officers will be entitled

to draw pay in the Basic Pay Scale (BPS-I6) i.e. Rs.28070-2260-95870 and
usual allowances as admissible under the rules.

/ ii) You will be on probation for a period of one year extendable by further period
not exceeding one year provided that if no order is made on the expiry ofthe
first year of probation period, the probation shall be deemed to has been
extended for a further period of one year; provided further that if no order is
made by the date following the term of extended period ol probation, the
probation shall be deemed as terminated. Appointment on probation shall be
subject to the provisions of Section 6 ofthe Civil Servants Act, 1973.

iii) As a probationer. and after the termination of probation, his services shall be
subject to the provisions of the Civil Servants Act. 1973 and the rules made
thereunder.

iv) The sen,ices will be liable to be terminated in accordance with Section I I of

the Civil Senants Act. 1973.

v) This offer of appointment is provisional and shall be subject to fulfillment of

following conditions during the probation period:-

a. Verification of Character and Antecedents.

b. Verification of Academic documents, Domicile etc.
c. Final medical fitness certificate as prescribed.

vi) You r.r'ill be required to complete the requisite training to the satisfaction olthe
head oftraining institutions where you will undergo the training.

vii) You will be liable to serve an).where within or outside Pakistan in any post
under the Federal Govemmenl or a Provincial Govemment or a local authoritv
 established by any such government. However, you are advised to convey 1't,
2nd and 3'd option / choice ofthe posting station i.e. Islamabad / Gilgit-Baltistan/
Punjab / Sindh./ BalochistarV Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.

viii) ln case you are already in service ofany Government department / autonomous
body etc. and has applied for the post through proper channel, you should get
himself relieved lrom his employer belore joining the post.

3. If the said terms and conditions of appointment are accepted, willingness to thrs
effect may be sent to the undersigned within 10 days ofreceipt olthis offer of appointment
letter. The written acceptance should be lorwarded through Courier Service / U.M.S /
Registered post.

4. This offer ofappointment will be treated as withdrawn if acceptance is not conveyed

within 10 days.

5. Notification of appointment/ postins will be issued only on receipt ofacceptance of

offer of appqintmqt.

6. No TA/DA will be admissible for joining the post.
