2 Project Description

Omron MDM Program focusses in bringing the Product information stored in STEP stibo to multiple
downstream system like multiple JDEs, snowflake, salesfore

There are around 9+ destination systems that are holding and managing different information about
same product in languages. Expected solution must bring in the STEP and share the relevant
information to multiple different system. Created logical duplicate products based on Part numbers
and try merge information updated information to all Part number. Create Unique key in the system
working with GOCU (Overall organization numbering system). Making sure that going forward,
duplicates are not created and support multiple ERPs. Created 10+ business workflow for handling
their local products.

Being a business user, different roles must be able to access the user interface providing option to
create local business unit products and also giving access to handle global items with options to fill
the local business information.

Solution uses following components to meet the business requirements.

 Inbound XSLT
 Workflows and Web UI
 Outbound Integration using Advanced STEPXML, Generic XML.
 Receiving data via large set of csvs for global Items in Inbound layer
 Custom CSV reports
 Workflow dashboards
 Error reporting mechanism.
