advance the prosperity and sustainability of South Australia’s primary industries and regional communities.
We are a passionate team of around 800 people working across metropolitan and regional South Australia to develop and protect our state’s regions and food, wine, aquaculture, fisheries, forestry, grains, livestock, dairy
and horticulture industries.

Purpose
The AgTech Project Officer will deliver activities that aim to enhance uptake of the AgTech Program by producers, and by so doing, lift the sustainable economic growth rate in the sector.
The objective of the Program is to improve industry adoption of AgTech through:
• Improved knowledge of AgTech opportunities among primary producers
• Improved interaction between technology providers and industry
• Improved interaction between technology developers and industry to provide fit for purpose technologies.
This role will be based within Major Programs and Regions working with producers, primary industry representatives, technology providers, and SARDI farm staff. The role will provide activities and resources that support
producers to adopt AgTech.
The role contributes to delivering the agency’s priorities. The AgTech Project Officer role is funded by PIRSA until June 30, 2025 and the position will also be required to report against KPIs as well as undertake
monitoring and evaluation.
