St. Antony’s Shrine, Avadi

Dear Parishioners!

It is the hymns that add life and vibrance to the Sacred

Liturgy we celebrate. The Sacred Music becomes the core
element of all our Sacred Celebrations. A good hymn depicts
the personal and community enchantment we have with the
divine.

It is through singing we express ourselves to thank God

profoundly for all that He is to us, to surrender ourselves to
His will and to plead with Him for all our needs. Every time
we sing to the Lord, our Song and our Strength (Exodus 15:2),
we reaffirm our faith in Him and thus, grow in strength to
wade through the stormy strife of our day-to-day living.

My appreciation to our St. Antony’s Shrine English Choir

Members ‘Choir of Angels’ for their unrelenting efforts in
compiling the Hymns and Mass prayers. May God bless them
for their good work and dedicated service in the parish. I
exhort all our parishioners to come together as one family to
sing His praises and give Him the glory.
May the grace of the Divine Lord be with you all.
