Congee Corner is a new food business located in Naruangan, Tuao East,
Cagayan and is a proud venture under ACM Corporation. The business
reimagines the beloved Filipino comfort food - congee - into a modern,
delicious, and convenient dining experience. The company aim to become the
leading congee chain, captivating both traditional and modern tastes. The
ultimate goal of the business is to be the destination spot of every consumer
around the area and to always offer the best food product where “every slurp, a
happy burp”.
Congee enjoys a large existing market in the Philippines, yet lacks in
variety, quality, and modern appeal. The company address this gap by offering
innovative flavours, high-quality ingredients, convenient formats, and
welcoming atmosphere.
The business aims to target all the students, kids, parents and workers
to buy and patronize the product. The entrepreneurs will go to promote Congee
Corner to all consumers by innovating the food products. Appeal to
the lower income and attract customers who are good in
purchasing decisions, price sensitivity, and also customer's loyalty. The
tagline “every slurp, a happy burp”, indicates the tasty congee with its
affordable price. Congee Corner offers authenticity and uniqueness to the
consumer’s preferences. The pricing strategy of the business is with a
retail price of 25 pesos to 35 pesos (P25-P30). The food business makes
use of broadcast media (social media), face to face, and word of mouth as a
promotion strategy which helps to promote the product to possible customer.

A. Company Name : Congee Corner (ACM Corporation)
Congee Corner is a food business founded in 2023 and was proposed by
grade 12 students of Accountancy, Business and Management as a
requirement for their subject Entrepreneurship. Through
innovation, the team come up with the name Congee Corner as warm and
an inviting space where the timeless comfort of congee is elevated with
modern flavours and fresh ingredients. The business introduces a new
delicacies that their customers will surely love. Because of its uniqueness,
the product will capture the customer's preference of their comfort food
since it has a different taste. For it to succeed, the company offers a
variety of strategies to maintain our profit and provide good services to our
customers. More than a name, Congee Corner is an experience. It's a place
to rediscover the comfort of congee, explore new culinary horizons, and
create lasting memories with friends and family.

company. In order to create promotional messages, they oversee internal teams
and produce media through a variety of channels. Marketing managers work

A production manager's primary responsibility is to supervise the
manufacturing process inside an organization and guarantee that production
lines operate efficiently with little downtime. Collaborating with executives and

of enjoying hearty congee. As a staple in many Asian cultures, congee
embodies both nourishment and warmth, making it an ideal choice for those
seeking a wholesome and filling meal. Our product aims to bring a touch of
home-style cooking to the school environment, creating a welcoming space
where individuals can indulge in delicious porridge crafted with care.

At Congee Corner, we prioritize quality ingredients to ensure every bowl is


a delightful blend of flavors and textures. Our purpose extends beyond merely
offering a meal; we aim to foster a sense of community by becoming a

 For as low as 25-30 pesos you can get a breakfast and snacks at the
same time that can help you satiate.
 It consists of half rice and a half sticky rice as a good source of
carbohydrates which provide energy and nutrients for the body.
 Congee Corner also contains soluble fibre, which can help lower
cholesterol levels, balance blood sugar levels, support gut health and
promote a feeling of fullness.
 We use different ingredients that makes it unique from the existing
delicacies in the market. Like chicken, whole boiled egg, dried garlic,
calamansi and spring onions, that can add more flavor to the rice
porridge.
 We made sure that our Congee Corner served while it’s still hot and
freshly cooked.

D. Production Process and Controls that will be used to manufacture


the product
Bellow is the procedure to create Congee Corner:
 STEP 1: First, start to cook it by sauteing the garlic and
onions. Ground black pepper and a piece of chicken cube
are added during the process.
 STEP 2: Next goes the chicken pieces. Make sure to cook the
chicken until the outer parts turn light brown color.
 STEP 3: Infuse the dish with flavors at the start, add a bit of
fish sauce into it in the early stage.
 STEP 5: Add the rice afterwards and a pour-in water, the
amount of water depends on the consistency of the dish.
 STEP 6: Make sure to stir every few minutes while cooking
until the desired consistency is achieved.
 STEP 7: Boil 1 tray of egg to add in porridge.
 STEP 8: Cut a fresh spring onion to also add more flavor in
our dish.
 STEP 9: Transfer it in a bowl and enjoy!
