PRE- ACTIVITY

1. The teacher asks the students about the picture


T: what do you see in the picture?
S: ruangtamu!
T: yes, it is living room. what do you think about this picture?
S: it’s beautufil, karnaadalampunya……
T: right, there are….

2. The teacher plays the video, asks about the video and tells little bit about
descriptive text.
T: who is being sought?
S: little sister!
T: what is a little sister’s name?
S: Rora
T: can you spell it? (pronunciation)
S: r-o-r-a
T: alright! The main topic such as living room and Rora is identification. what does rora looks
like?
S: Keriting! Pakebaju pink!
T: okay! There are lamps, sofa, or Rora has curly hair or wears pink shirt are descriptions. So,
there are identification and description in descriptive text. Okay now watch the video again! So,
what does rora looks like? Oke, repeat after me “what does rora looks like” (pronunciation)
S: repeat*
T: so, what does rora look like?
S: she’s wearing pink shirt…..
3. The teacher gives some words that have quite same pronunciation

T: so, the older sister is looking for her little sister. Please find synonym of looking for and also
Phrasal verb of LOOK (with the meaning). after you find those words, please make it into
sentences using each word.

WHILST-ACT

1. Please make the table and fill it WITH THE NAME OF YOUR FAVORITE
ARTIST (FAMOUS) AND HIS/HER APPERENCE

2. 2. Make dialogue between student 1 and student 2(SPEAKING)

3. Change their partner and make dialogue(SPEAKING)
4. Make a group and retell theirs in front of their group(SPEAKING)
5. GAME!(LISTENING)
After they retell theirs in front of their group, one of members tells her/his table in front of
the class (without telling the ARTIST’S NAME) and the other groups must write it and guess
WHO HE/SHE IS.
6. Write down theirs and in some sentences/paragraph and also give
note, which one is identification/description. (WRITING)
7. Teacher gives a text about descriptive text with some questions. The
students must read and answer it. (READING)

Post-act

1. The teacher justifies the students’ mistakes (pronunciation, vocabulary,


etc....)
2. The teacher explains and gives pictures about directions.
