BACKGROUND

Parents are failing to sustain their projects as they are selling their products in their raw state
as such there is a need to add value to their products.

CALA

The CALA has two parts A and B which you are supposed to complete
PART A

 Research on the product


 Collect data on output and prices
 Record the data
 In your research include interviews, record notes, use ICT tools, take pictures and
make recordings of your findings on how best they can add value to their products.

PART B

Using the information in part A

 Presentation of data in tabular form for comparison.


 Write notes on how parents can add value to the product

 To assess your presentation the teacher will consider your research materials and
explanations about your table.
 An Achievement Standard specific to this CALA will be provided so that you are
aware of the assessment criteria.

Most entrepreneurs in the commercial field lack practical aspect of business documents
in home trade.

CALA CONTEXT

The cala has two parts, that is part A and part B.

You are required to complete both parts.

PART A

Collect any three purchasing documents which are used in home trade.

List the contents and uses of each document you have identified.

Draw a sequence flow of documents used in home trade.
