Questions:

 Discuss whether you believe any of these poems meet your definition of

1. Discuss very briefly whether Sonnet 116 qualifies as a work of literature to you. Why or why not?

I believe William Shakespeare's Sonnet 116 qualifies as a work of literature to me because it allowed me to explore the nature of
love and its obstacles and perseverance. Oddly, this poem also reminded me of the part of the wedding vows were it states "Till
death due us part".

2. Discuss very briefly whether "Lake Isle of Innisfree" qualifies as a work of literature to you. Why or why not?

"Lake isle of the Innisfree" qualifies as a work of literature to me because the flow of the poem that reflects on themes of longing
and tones of nostalgia as I went through the content and listened to the audio. It gave the feeling or craving of what the simplicity
of what nature had to offer.

I believe that "we real cool" qualifies as a work of literature because of the flow and use of language, rhythm, and imagery of its
contents allow the readers or have vivid imagery as we as we read through it.

4. Discuss very briefly whether "DNA" qualifies as a work of literature to you. Why or why not?

I believe that DNA by Kendrick Lamar qualifies as literature because its lyrics tells a story, explores themes, and makes the
listeners feel different emotions, just like traditional literature. The song's wordplay allows listeners to flow through the vivid
imagery. Its cultural and social commentary adds layers of meaning that invite analysis and interpretation, similar to how one
might approach in traditional literature.

Remember that there are no wrong answers!

These poems all allows the readers to go through a vivid imagery transformation that allows one to feel the emotions or envision
what the writers are expressing. Even though some made me feel more than other and some emotions differed from others,
overall all of them satisfied its duty as literature which was to evoke emotions or give us access to a range of emotion and events
though its contents.
