RATIONALE: National Arts Month is celebrated annually throughout February in the Philippines
under Presidential Proclamation No. 683. The events and activities that take place during this month are
geared toward showcasing the artistic talent of Filipinos, as well as providing avenues for artists to
channel their creative energies.

OBJECTIVES: The Nagcarlan Tourism and Culture Office in coordination with Nagcarlan Underground
Cemetery-National Historical Commission of the Philippines would like to or organize a three (3) day
artistic events and performances as an agency in charge of overseeing and organizing the events of
National Arts Month in Nagcarlan, Laguna.

Target Participants: One (1) representative in all Elementary schools Public and Private from Grade 4-6
