We welcome those who are selected to the 2nd round of the 2024 OKFriends HomeComing

Teens Camp. We inform you about the camp in the following pages. Please read the

information carefully, fill out the forms below and send them to teenscamp@okocc.or.kr

by Monday, June 3, 2024.

※ The selected round cannot be changed, and advanced notice is required to cancel the
camp

1. HomeComing Teens Camp Overview

▪Duration: July 22, 2024 (Monday) ~ July 28, 2024 (Sunday), 6 nights 7 days
▪Region: Incheon (2 nights) - Gyeongju (2 nights) - Seoul (2 nights)

2. Required Participation Registration Papers


※ If you fail to submit the documents, you will not be able to participate in the Camp
▪Submission period: Monday, June 3, 2024(Korea time, GMT +9)
▪In total, there are 6 papers to be submitted (please refer to the forms from p.4 to p.8)

※Please note the registration time above when issuing the airline tickets, and it is essential
for pre-arrival registrants to adhere to the registration time.

5. Suppoort Details

6. Flight cost reimbursement for participant


▪Purchase and reimbursement of airfare: Participants are responsible for purchasing their
own airfare, and reimbursement will be provided to participants after the end of the camp.
※ Information regarding the reimbursement of airfare and submission of E-
tickets/receipts will be provided later (mid-June)
- Round trip economy seats is supportable within a limit of 50%. If the support exceeds
this limit, participants will bear the additional cost individually.
- 100% of the airfare will be provided for Mexican/Cuban-Korean descendants and
Korean adoptees and their children

▪Airfare support regulation: Support is provided solely for the purpose of attending the
camp

- If traveling through countries or cities for personal reasons, the cost of airfare due to
layovers is not supported.
- If extending the duration of stay for the purpose of visiting parents or relatives,
support is available for arrival and departure within 2 weeks before and after the
camp.
※ Arrival requirement: Monday, July 8th at 00:00
※ Departure requirement: Sunday, August 11th 23:59
- If the departure point is the participant’s place of residence, OR, if departing from
another location due to personal circumstances, support will be based on the location
where airfare is cheaper compared to the place of residence.
※ If the place of residence is in Japan but the departure point is in the United States:
Support will be based on the airfare in Japan.
If the place of residence is in the United States but the departure point is in Japan:
Support will be based on the airfare in Japan.

7. Airport Pickup and Drop-off


▪Details regarding airport pickup and drop-off will be provided later (mid-June)

8. Accommodation
▪During the event period, a total of 6 nights of accommodation (including breakfast) will be
provided.
▪Accommodation beyond 6 nights will not be provided separately, and any additional
expenses incurred such as personal meals, minibar services, and in-room telephone charges
will be the responsibility of the participant.

9. Travel Insurance
▪Travel Insurance and youth acitivity liablility insurance will be applied for the duration of
the camp period from July 22th (Monday) to July 28th (Sunday)
▪Additionally, separate insurance for items lost or damaged of personal belongings, as well
as individual traveler insurance required outside of the training period, is recommended to
be acquired individually.

By signing this liability release as a participant of the 2024 OKFriends Homecoming Teen & Youth
Camp, I agree with the following:

1. Participants confirm that the responsibility for the safety and health of individual
activities other than the training program in their home country (from 16:00 on July 22,
2024 to 12:00 on July 28, 2024) lies with the carers and participants
2. OKA and OKCC assigns the project by consignment to a specialized agency for
professional and stable operation. When preparing and conducting the Camp, OKA and
OKCC puts participants’ safety as the top priority, equipped with countermeasures and
systems, and takes out insurance for participants (travelers' insurance, accident
insurance, etc.) during the Camp period.
3. OKF and OKCC is not responsible for all lawsuits, petitions, and claims arising from
injuries, diseases, deaths, property losses, property damage, and expenses that were not
caused by gross negligence or willful misconduct of OKA and OKCC and its staff during
the Camp period.
4. OKF and OKCC is also exempted from complaints arising from first aid, treatment, and
other emergencies medical and dental services other than those covered by insurance
(liability insurance for youth activities) provided for participants during the Camp
period. The undersigned agrees to bear the cost of the above emergency treatment and to
ensure that OKA and OKCC and its staff receive no detriment.

The undersigned has read this liability release carefully and fully understands the contents.
The undersigned acknowledges that this is a liability release between him/herself and the
OKA and OKCC and any other entity related to the OKA and OKCC.
The undersigned has signed this document voluntarily and has not been affected by the
expression, statement, or recommendation of any person other than those named herein.

1. Regarding changes in the camp period:

Q. I got accepted to the first Teens Camp but wish to apply to the second one. Is it possible to
relocate to the second Teens Camp?

A. It is impossible. When applying, you must indicate which period you wish to participate in, although we
are sorry to inform you that you may not be selected for the period you applied for.

2. Regarding flight booking and refund:

three weeks after the program due to personal motives. In this case, will I receive 50% off the

A. In this case Only 25% will be supported for tickets as your departure is scheduled three weeks after the
camp.

Q. I booked the flight but cannot attend the camp for personal reasons. In this case, will I receive
50% off the airfare?

A. It is impossible. Although you were selected for the camp, if you cannot participate, airfare for your flight
will not be reimbursed.

3. Regarding late or early entry or departure:

Q. Due to personal circumstances, I cannot attend the program from the first day and will be
attending on the second day. In this case, will I be able to participate in the program?

A. It is impossible. Attending all program events is a requirement.

Q. I must leave Korea before the program's conclusion due to personal circumstances. In this case,
