Description IMCOS 3510 is a digital master clock with LCD display, set-up keyboard and internal microprocessor.
It is suitable for driving electric slave clock network with forward and backward facilities.
It is equipped with 2 output sygnals, 1 for UTC and 1 for LT with accuracy ± 0.2 sec. per months.
Optional features • Larger LCD display showing more information.
• GPS time synchronization.
• Additional outputs for having more than 1 LT adjusting time facility.

IMCOS 3510 is a digital master clock with LCD display, set-up keyboard and internal microprocessor.
It is suitable for driving electric slave clock network with forward and backward facility.
It is equipped with 2 lines, 1 for UTC and 1 for LT with accuracy ± 0.2 sec. per month, one larger
LCD display for showing more information and serial input for GPS time synchronization.

1. UTC (Universal Time Clock) Slave clock setting and monitor. It is equipped with:
a. 2 “SEC” led alternatively blinking ON/OFF every second
b. UTC “FFWD MANUAL” push button: able to put 1 minute forward UTC slave clock
each time this button is pushed. If button is kept pressed more than three seconds it is
possible to put forward continuously minutes till button is pressed.
c. 2 “STEPS” led alternatively blinking ON/OFF for each minute to be put forward
2. LT (Local Time) Slave clocks setting and monitor. It is equipped with:
a. LT “FFWD MANUAL” and “FBACKWD MANUAL” push buttons: able to put 1 minute
forward or backward LT slave clock each time FFWD or FBACKWD button is pushed. If
button is kept pressed more than three seconds it is possible to put forward or backward
continuously minutes till button is pressed.
b. LT “-1 H (+11 H) AUTO” and “+1 AUTO” push buttons: able to automatically put 1 hour
forward or backward LT slave clock when “-1H” or “+1H” button is pushed.
c. 2 “STEPS” led alternatively blinking ON/OFF for each minute to be put forward or
backward.
3. LCD Display which shows local master clock information and to be used for setting LCD
information. Default page contains the following information:
a. Date
b. UTC time
c. LT time
d. LT offset

Adjusting Time for UTC slave clock.

At start-up it necessary to manually adjust UTC time in UTC clock according to GPS information
displayed on LCD Master Clock display.
In order to do that it is necessary to push UTC “FFWD MANUAL” push button on the front panel
of master clock: each time someone push it minute hand will forward 1 minute and, if this button
is kept pressed more than 3 seconds, it will be possible to forward minutes continuously since the
button is pushed on.
During this operation the two led named “STEP” will blink alternatively how many minute clock
is to be set forward, and they stop blinking when UTC “FFWD MANUAL” push button is
released.

Adjusting Time for LT slave clock.
At start-up it necessary to manually adjust LT time in LT clock according to LT information
displayed on LCD Master Clock display.
In order to do that it is necessary to push LT “FFWD MANUAL” and “FBACKWD MANUAL”
push buttons on the front panel of master clock: each time someone push it minute hand will be
forward/backward 1 minute and, if this button is kept pressed more than 3 seconds, it will be
possible to set forward/backward minutes continuously since the button is pushed on.
During this operation the two led named “STEP” will blink alternatively how many minute clock
is to be set forward, and they stop blinking when LT “FFWD MANUAL” or “FBACKWD
MANUAL” push button is released.
It is also possible to adjust LT time with fast forward and fast backward facility by using LT “-1 H
(+11 H) AUTO” and “+1 AUTO” push buttons. When one of these buttons is pushed minute hand
will go 1 hour forward or backward, in this way adjusting LT time becomes faster. Also during
this operation the two led named “STEP” will blink alternatively till minute hand will be stop (one
hour later or before).

Setting LCD display.

If GPS input is connected LCD display will automatically show at start-up correct data and UTC
time information, otherwise it will be necessary to adjust them manually as follows:
• Push button n. 1 can be used for changing page, by pushing it LCD page will be change from
default page to Date setting page, UTC setting page and LT setting page.
• Push button n. 2 can be used for choosing setting mode for date, UTC or LT
• Push button n. 3 can be used for increase setting value by one step.
• Push button n. 4 can be used for decrease setting value by one step.
