What is in the ECS oral?

1. The Oral Interaction Test requires the students to discuss issues on a given topic in which students have to accomplish the following tasks:

(a) assert his or her stance, and


(b) convince members to agree or persuade others to change their minds or provide suggestions while offering justifications.

2. Students are required to read the instructions carefully and complete the test within 15 minutes.

3. Prior to the discussion, students are given 1 minute to read the question and another 1 minute to prepare points/notes for the test. 

4. Students are allowed to refer to their notes during the discussion.

5. Assessment will be based on students' active participation and meaningful contribution to the discussion.
