Fellow teachers and dearest pupils.

Alhamdulillah, we are able to gather here in the Launching Ceremony of

the English Language Week 2023 at the school level today.
Dear teachers and students,
English is the second language after the National Language. This
shows that it is important for young people of this generation to master
English. In conjunction with English Week, there are several activities that will
be carried out such as colouring, crossword puzzles, word searches, spelling
bee, hidden pictures and writing a short blog. These activities are designed to
encourage pupils to use English.
In addition, the activities that will be carried out also meet the
characteristics of HIP (Highly Immersive Programme). The pupils will be
exposed to the atmosphere of learning English to encourage them to
participate in these activities while improving their fluency in the language.
Activities with the concept of 'Fun Learning' are used so that the pupils feel fun
and not stressed using English.
With Bismilahhirahmanirrahim, I launch the English Week Programme
for 2023 session.
