LAZINESS COULD KILL YOU

In this era, technology is increasingly advanced, many things can be done

easily, even without help from other people. we can complete all of them. Just one
small move, your jobs can be done by themselves.
But who knows? When you are careless, this can turn you into a lazy
person. Because by technology, almost everything we can do without too much
efforts. Because of that someone usually would think that it can be done later. But
at the end, they forgot to do their responsibility. It makes you relax so much until
you forgot what was your plan.
Yes, it looks like this is just a trivial matter but thinking of it again,
sometimes a big problem starts from small things.
My name is Hasjasar Ilyas Nur Hidayatullah from Indonesian Naval
Academy, and today I would like to give you some speech about “Laziness could
kill you”.
I have a little sister who can speak English fluently. At her current age,
being able to speak English fluently is an extraordinary thing. In fact, she almost
forgot her basic language, Indonesia language.
She sometimes has bad habits, she postponed the work that her teacher had
given her. She always said it’s easy thing to me, I can do it in no more than a
minute. I was like, okay sure, do as you wish princess. I’ve warned her once,
twice, even more than three times but still didn’t listen, and guess what, as well as
I thought she forgot do her homework. She got punished by her teacher.
When I saw my sister like this, reminds me when I was a kid, and I did the
same thing, and my father said same thing to me too.
By the small things, it can make you careless. Make you thinking that i can
do it later, I can finish it later. But you forgot not everything will go smoothly as
your thoughts, there are still many possibilities that could happen.
Imagine when you have been given a big responsibility, and it’s easy to
you, so you have no worries about it when you will do it. In the end you
underestimated it. Without you realize, that’s the start of your disaster, and not to
mention if it concerns life.
 The Persians lost a lot of lives when fight against the Spartans, they
thought because they won in numbers so they didn't need to bother making plans,
just attack with numbers. Although in the end 300 Spartans soldiers lost on the
battlefield. But we can see from this battle that the spartan, they are not lazy, they
always make an anticipation, plans to beat the Persians even though they knew
they were ahead for the spot.
Ladies and gentleman, sometimes when I got a job, i underestimate it
when I think that it’s not really to finish it. But I always thinking back again twice
if this job when I haven’t finished this job as soon as possible, this could kill me
or it could take someone's life who knows when it happens. With this mindset, I
won’t underestimate my job.
We should change our mindset when we got something that doesn’t really
bother us, we have to make sure that if we finish that job in time, because we
don’t know what would happen to us if we postpone it. Don’t be a lazy person that
has mindset I can do it later, I can finish it later, don’t. Because if it is connected
when you want to achieve something in the future and you think like that, it will
be difficult for you to get it.
