Part 1 (TAF Approved)


This Flight Manual Supplement is TAF approved.

This installation configuration consists of a RT-7000 transceiver, FC 570 Antenna tuner, AT 570 Tunable
Antenna, and an Antenna Select relay.

1. GENERAL
The RT-7000 is a multi-band transceiver that provides the user interface with a front panel
incorporating a touch screen LCD display, functions set knobs, and function select switches. Functions
are controlled either via touch screen operations, or by using the available knobs and switches.

1.1. POWER
The RT-7000 transceiver is protected by the following circuit breakers:

2. LIMITATIONS
No change.

3. EMERGENCY PROCEDURES
The emergency procedures specified in the basic flight manual and flight manual supplements remain
applicable.

4. NORMAL PROCEDURES
The normal procedures specified in the basic flight manual and flight manual supplements remain
applicable.

4.1. Unit Power On


Pushing the dual purpose Volume Knob turns the RT-7000 ON or OFF.

4.2. Tuning
Tune to desired Frequency using cursor and value knobs on the right side of the RT-7000.

4.3. Controlling Display Brightness


The brightness knob is the outer (large) concentric knob on the left side of the RT-7000.
 Turn brightness knob as desired

4.4. Volume Control


The Volume knob is the inner (small) concentric knob on the left side of the RT-7000.
 Turn volume knob as desired

5. PERFORMANCE
The performance specified in the basic flight manual remains applicable.

6. WEIGHT AND BALANCE


Refer to equipment list entries in 350-2104-ICA3.

7. SYSTEM DESCRIPTION
Operation of the RT-7000 UHF/FM Multiband Radio is defined in the Canyon AeroConnect RT-7000
Operator Guide (Document No. 150-071770 Rev E, or later revised).
