ELF JUMPSUIT

CROCHET PATTERN

Baby yarn in green, red, black, beige and white colors


White fur yarn
4 mm crochet hook
Round wooden buttons 2

Chest: 9
Shoulder to Crotch Length: 13
Total Length: 20
Sleeve Length: 7.5

6-12 month size:


Chest: 10
Shoulder to Crotch Length: 15
Total Length: 24.5
Sleeve Length: 8.5

12-18 month size:


Chest: 10.5
Shoulder to Crotch Length: 16
Total Length: 25.5

ROMPER PATTERN:

Start with ch 41, 47, 55 chs. We are working in rows. Turn


your work before starting a new row.

R1: skip 1st ch, 1 dc in each st across the row. (40, 46, 54
dc)

R2-12,14,16: ch 1, 1 dc in each st. (40, 46, 54 dc)

We are separating the front panels, shoulder, and back


panels in the next row. Count the next row as R1.
R1: ch1, 6,7,8 dc, ch1 (1st front panel), 8, 9,11 dc, ch1
(shoulder), 12, 14, 16 dc, ch1, (back), 8, 9,11 dc, ch1
(shoulder), 6,7,8 dc (2nd front panel) (40, 46, 54 dc)

R2: ch1, 6,7,8 dc, "2dc, ch1, 2dc" in ch 1 sp, 8, 9,11 dc, "2dc,
ch1, 2dc" in ch 1 sp, 12, 14, 16 dc,"2dc, ch1, 2dc" in ch 1 sp, 8,
9,11 dc, "2dc, ch1, 2dc" in ch 1 sp, 6,7,8 dc (56, 62, 70 dc)

R3: ch1, 8, 9, 10 dc, "2dc, ch1, 2dc" in ch 1 sp, 12, 13, 15 dc,

R5-7, 8, 9: keep repeating the sequence of R4 till required


width on the back. .
check the width of the backside. if you want a bigger size
then can add more rows.

Now we are separating the shoulders and romper's body.


R1: ch1, 1 dc in each st of 1st front panel, 1 dc in ch sp, skip
the shoulder, 1 dc in next ch sp, 1 dc in each st of the back
side, 1 dc in ch sp, skip the shoulder, 1 dc in next ch sp, 1 dc
in each st of 2nd front panel.

R2-16, 20, 22: ch1, 1 dc in each st. turn.

Slst in 1st st, we are working in rounds onwards.

4,6,8 rows: ch1, 1 dc in each st across the round. slst.


Separating both legs.
Divide the sts in two parts and mark. We'll work for 1st leg
in half sts.
R1-14, 18, 22: ch1, 1dc in each st across the round. slst.

Cut the yarn and weave in the ends. Crochet 2nd leg.

Sleeves:
working in the shoulder sts we skipped before.
R1: (with red yarn) ch1, 1 dc in ch sp, 1 dc in each st acorss, 1
dc in next ch sp. slst,
R2-3: (with white yarn) ch1, 1 dc in each st across the
round. slst.
R4: (With red yarn) ch1, 1 dc in each st across the round.
slst.
R5-13, 15, 16: Keep repeating the sequence of R2-4.

cut the yarn and weave in ends. Crochet the 2nd sleeve.
fold the hood in half and sew it close.

Front Placket:
The placket will cover the right front openings only
Start working in the edge of row 16, 20, 22.
R1: ch1, 2 sc in each row.
R2: ch1, 1 sc in each st
R3: ch1, 10 sc, "ch1, skip 1 st" this is our 1st button hole, make
another button hole some sts apart.
R4: ch1, 1 sc in each st across the row.
Sew the bottons. And weave in all ends.

Make red small pompoms and fix them at the edge of


sleeves and legs
Fold the hood in half and sew it close in the foundation ch,
with white fur yarn, make a row of sc on the edge of the
hood.

Belt: With black yarn make a ch equals to waist sts + 1 chs


R1: skip 1st ch, 1 dc in each st. turn
R2-3,4: ch1, 1 dc in each st. turn
cut the yarn by leaving a long tail, we’ll later use this tail to
sew belt with the jumper.
Buckel: With beige yarn, ch 24, 32. slst in 1st ch
R1: ch1, “5,7 sc, sc inc” x 4. slst.
R2: ch1, “5,7 sc, 2 sc inc” x 4. slst.
cut the yarn and fix the buckel in the center of the belt.

Lace: with red yarn make a ch equals to collar + 1 chs


R1: skip 1st ch, 1 dc in each st, turn.
R2: ch1, “1 sc, 1 dc, tr inc, 1 dc, 1sc” rep across the row.
cut the yarn by leaving a long tail, use this tail to sew half
lace with the jumper. keep left half unstitched and use a
small button to fix it on the shoulder.

Candy: with white yarn make 3 chs


R1: (white yarn) skip 1st ch, 2 sc , turn.
R2: (red yarn) ch1, 2 sc , turn.
R3-5: keep repeating the sequence.
R6: (with red) ch1, 1 hdc, 1 sc
R7: ch1, 1 sc, 1 hdc
R8: ch1, 1 hdc, 1 sc
R9: ch1, 1 sc, 1 hdc
cut the yarn by leaving a long tail, use this tail to sew half
lace with the jumper. keep left half unstitched and use a
small button to fix it on the shoulder.

Ears x 2:
With beige yarn, ch8
R1: skip 1st ch, 1 sc, 1 hdc, 4 dc, 6 dc in last st, on the other
side of the ch, 4 dc, 1 hdc, sc inc, slst.
R2: ch1, 1 sc, 5 hdc, 6 hdc inc, 5 hdc, 1 sc, 3 sc in last st.
cut the yarn and sew the ears on the hood.
Hood Tail:
with green yarn, work in the magic ring.
R1: ch1, 6 dc, slst.
R2-4: ch 1, 6 dc, slst.
R5: ch1, “dc, dc inc” x 3, slst. (9 dc)
R6-7: ch1, 9 dc, slst.
R8: ch1, dc inc x 2, slst. (18 dc)
R9: ch1, 18 sc, slst. (18 sc)
cut the yarn and sew it on the hood.

make a big pompom and attach on the edge of tail.
