Ielts Writing Task 2

Topic: Children are now less active in their free time than in the past. Therefore, sports lessons must be
compulsory in schools. To what extent do you agree or disagree? Everything for you answer and include
any relevant examples from your own knowledge or experience.

Write at least 250 words.

The word is venturing into a new age. There will be revolutionaries. Not all revolutionaries come without
sacrifices. Like activities in children nowadays is one of the sacrifices. This issue brings people into
viewing sports lessons is a compulsory in schools. I fully agree with that view because it is relevant to my
daily life and relevant to the present society.

The reason why sports lessons in school must be compulsory is because there aren't plenty of demand
for sports activities that technological activities. Children know that they see these technological
activities as more fun and attractive than sport activities. That they are wider options of entertainment
on devices, unlike sport, such as watching videos, playing games and chat to people. This is why I agree
that sports lessons in schools must be compulsory in order to create sport demand in children. This will
make the children's health better, ensuring that they will live happily.

Children are immature. They are also bad listeners as well. By making sports lessons in school a
compulsory, we can force them to play sports and do exercises. Most of the children think that doing
sports isn’t necessary so they dismiss them, even if the adults try to say that sports are crucial. By
making sports lessons as a requirement children will view sports as normal things and they will be more
interested in it.

When sport interests rise, there will also be more sport coach positions for unemployed individuals to
apply. This is crucial because the world had gone through a pandemic that led many people to being
unemployed. That is why by just raising sports demands, millions of people will have a stable revenue.
Sports interests not only keep working positions to employ, but it can also create more sport
tournaments between people and people, nations and nations. Such tournaments can increase the
corporations between nations and nations, lower the tensions in conflicts or even increasing countries’
revenue.

In conclusion, I believe that sports lessons must be compulsory in schools. Sports can solve a lot of
problems, some people just don't know it.
