Wally started a global phenomenon 30 years ago! Ever since
Wally-watchers have spent hours searching for the intrepid traveller.
Join us for a Where’s Wally? extravaganza with our suggestions
for a stripe-tastic Where’s Wally? day. Wow! Amazing!

EVENT SUGGESTIONS:

Have You Found Wally Yet?

Hold your own Where’s Wally? hunt by hiding Wally and his friends, Woof, Wenda, Wizard Whitebeard and Odlaw
around the store. Then ask your Wally-watchers to find them. They could also look for Wally’s key, Woof’s bone,
Wenda’s camera, Wizard Whitebeard’s scroll and Odlaw’s binoculars.
For this event we will provide:
• A4 colour print outs of the characters and their accessories
• A4 colour checklist for your Wally-watchers
• Prizes – posters, sticker sheets

Where’s Wally? Musical Bonanza

Instead of Musical Statues, play Musical Where’s Wally?. When the music stops, ask the children to strike a
Wally pose and keep as still as possible. Any wobbling, and they’re out!

Wally Says!
Why not try a variation on Simon Says. Instead of using Simon, use Wally! Ask the children to hop on one
foot, touch the ground, jump up and down etc – but only if Wally says so!

Wally’s Stupendous Pass the Parcel

Wrap a Where’s Wally? prize in a number of layers of wrapping paper and pass the parcel around. Whoever
has the parcel when the music stops, gets to unwrap a layer. Restart the music and continue the game until
every layer is removed and the prize revealed. If you don’t want anyone to lose, put a Wally sticker in each
layer and make sure the music stops on their turn at least once.

Where’s Wally? Super Search Challenge

Using a scene from one of the Where’s Wally? books, get two or more challengers ready and after
the count of “three, two, one”, let the race begin! The winner is the first person to spot Wally.
For the ultimate race, try finding Woof, Wenda, Wizard Whitebeard and Odlaw as well!

Where’s Wally? Eye-Boggling Activities

Use the colouring sheets, crossword and word puzzle at the back of this pack for some fun activities.
