Week 3; week commencing Monday 14th August

BEFORE YOU LEAVE CLASS TODAY do these things:

1. One member (nominate someone) will complete the above table on this Team
Plan document and email it to the other members. OR Share via mobile
phone your mobile numbers and email addresses and note your availabilities
for meetings.

2. One member will set-up a Facebook page or Google Docs and enrol all
Group members.

3. Decide on the product group that the Group will study for Assignments 2, 3
and 4.

4. Allocate a different brand to each Group member for them to study in

Assignment 2.

5. Email any absent Group members and inform them of the product group and
tellthem which brand they are to study for Assignment 2.

6. Set date for first group meeting via Skype, Zoom, in-person, whatever.

7. Once this has been done each Individual member can start work on
Assignment 2, which is an Individual Assignment. Suggestion is to start with
the data gathering tasks.

LATER IN WEEK 3 >>>>

a. Everyone starts work on their individual Assignment 2 by going to

Canvas > Assignments > Assignment 2 and: -

b. reading the Assignment 2 Document and Rubric and

c. familiarising themselves with the IBIS industry reports,

d. reading the document “How to Work in Teams” >>> “What makes a

good Group member?” and “The Group’s Assessment of the Group’s
Performance.”

e. Studying the Week 3 Online Study and Class Activities materials

regarding the Marketing Environment.

Weeks 4 to 6; Monday 23rd August 20th to Friday 8th September

1. Hold group meetings as needed using Zoom or Skype.

2. Use your Facebook or Google Docs page for storing and exchanging
information about the Industry and the Brands that will be useful for: -

a. Individuals as they work on Assignment 2 AND/OR

b. For the Group when you come together to do Assignment 3 – the

Group Assignment.

Mid-Semester Break – from Monday 11th September to Friday 15th

September inclusive.

Week 7; week commencing Monday 18th September

1. Monday 18th September: each individual member finalises their

Assignment 2. Share your Assignment with other Group members and give
helpful feedback to each other.

2. Monday 24th September - this is the deadline for submission.
