on color blending.
Marker purchasing tips:

Having a base of light tones, mid tones, and darks


is always a good idea. having a range in each col-
or is ideal, but it can take time to financially ac-
cumulate a good base.

My recommendation is to purchase colors based


on the animal you picked.

Find the base tone:

If you animal is primarily cool or warm tones, be


sure your base tone is a very light version of the
same.
If your animal is primarily one color, find a very
light base tone in that color family.

Mid Tones:

Having a range is good and not all colors are


obvious. Sometimes. It is good to other tones in
shadows and to add dimension.

Try to operate within warm and cool tones.

It is also good to have one dark gray, mid gray


and light gray.
