Did you know that there are volcanoes underneath the sea? They are called
submarine volcanoes. When they erupt, they create clouds of steam underwater.
The clouds contain minerals that cause some of the saltiness in seawater. When
volcanoes on the surface of the Earth erupt, steam and lava spew out into the air.
