NORTH SOUTH UNIVERSITY is one of the most prominent universities of
Bangladesh in terms of academic competency, as well as extracurricular
activities. The events and publications of NSU assist in creating
comprehensive and enduring notions of the corporations in the minds of the
future leaders of the nations. North South University Law and Mooting Society
(NSULMS) is one such prestigious student organization of North South
University. The organization which runs under the Department of Law at North
South University has over two hundred active members dedicated to furthering
our agenda of legal awareness and active legal thought in the youth of
Bangladesh.
Some of our recent events were “LAW FEST SEASON I”, “LAW FEST
SEASON II”, “STREET LAW AND COMMUNITY LAWYERING I”,
“STREET LAW AND COMMUNITY LAWYERING CHAPTER II” and the
most recently “NSU INTRA VIRTUAL MOOT-COURT COMPETITION”
and “LEGAL COMBAT”.
This competition shall help the young legal minds to enhance their speaking
and writing skills through the respective segments of Legal Debate and Legal
Opinion Writing. The proposed competition is for the law students of North
South University, to provide them with a wider opportunity to master their
skills of legal submissions and opinionating.
North South University pledges to create better lawyers and we believe these
skills are imperative for our students to excel at to achieve that certain goal.
This valuable experience shall help the participants to take part in and win
similar competitions like this at home and abroad, representing our dignified
institution.

students more knowledgeable about our country’s legal system. In order for
