Time Management Role Play

Citrix wants to send 30 of its staff on a team-building weekend. You have drawn
up a shortlist of options. You have to choose the best option. Things you should
consider include the practical training element, the fun factor, safety and
cost.

Teams of 15-20 take part in three


boat races during this fun-filled
action-packed day! After an initial
team-briefing and training
session, teams spend the
morning practising their boat
racing techniques and planning a
winning race strategy. Then, it is
off to the races! Food, drink and
fireworks on the river, round off
the day.

Teams of three build their own
traditional dog sleds (as shown in the
picture) from materials supplied on
site. After a short dog-handling
session, they set off with a local
expert in search of hidden treasure
in the forest (simulated). The day
ends with a fabulous dinner by
roaring fires! Optional night trip to
hear the wolves!

3. Italian bank robbery (not real – simulated) followed by Italian dinner and wine
celebration

Teams of 10 compete to carry out a mock bank robbery right in the heart of
Rome! They only plan the robbery! After the planning session, the teams present
their plans at the 5-star Lord Byron Hotel and vote for the best plan. Then, teams
compete with each other in Ferrari. The evening ends with music and wine.
