The diagram gives information about how aluminium cans are recycled.

Overall, the process comprises seven main stages, beginning with the
disposal of used cans and ending with the recycled products being reused.
The process begins with used cans being removed and put into specialized
bins which contain aluminium ones only. Then, the collection is taken and
transported to recycling plants. After that, those used cans start entering the
processing stage in which they are cleaned, got rid of waste, and sorted
carefully in order to be determined whether they are eligible for recycling.
Next, the selected cans are shredded and compressed into small pieces. In
the following stage, those parts undergo the process of heating and melting
in which they are turned into hot liquid. After that, the liquid is molded into
flat strips, then solidified and made into rolls whose thickness is in the
range of 2.5mm to 6mm. Finally, those rolls are used to recycle aluminium
cans. In the UK, recycled aluminium cans reused account for 74% of the
total number of cans that are on the market.
