SKILL BASED PROJECT

Entrepreneurship is a key to national development and the solution to many problems. The process of
Entrepreneurship is like planting a new tree.

An entrepreneur is like a tree. A tree provides filtered air for humans, fruits for kids, grass for animals, a home
for birds, and wood for the farmer.

In his way entrepreneurship brings a new solution to old human problems, entrepreneurship provides jobs for
skilled people, entrepreneurship increases demand in the market, brings competition to produce top-quality
products and services, is a source of income for the government, and influences society with leadership skills.

To enhance the Self Confidence, business management skills, creativity, communication and active listening
skills, networking skills etc. we organise HUNAR – FEST every year.

The Topic for class 11 B is Eco-friendly Bags

You have to make any kind of attractive fancy bag (can be hand bag, tote bag, sling bag etc.) from jute, cloth,
recycle material.

Also, write an attractive quote related to any topics mentioned in art integrated project, using fabric paint,
embroidery etc.

ROAD SAFETY PROJECT

In today's world road and transport has become an integral part of every human being. Everybody is a road
user in one shape or the other. The present transport system has minimized the distances but it has on the other
hand increased the life risk. Every year road crashes result in loss of lakhs of lives and serious injuries to
crores of people.

In India itself about eighty thousand people are killed in road crashes every year which is thirteen percent of the
total fatality all over the world. Man behind the wheel plays an important role in most of the crashes. In most
of the cases crashes occurs either due to carelessness or due to lack of road safety awareness of the road user.
Hence, road safety education is as essential as any other basic skills of survival.

The aim of this project is

- to provide road safety information for road users a

- to encourage safer road user behaviour among current and prospective road users

- to reduce the number of people killed and injured on our roads every year.

Make Cartoon presentations/write slogan/write quotation/make pamphlet/write shayari etc. on A-3 size sheet.
Paste the sheet on hard card board. Fix a strong stick in centre so that it can be hold properly while presenting
in nukkad nataks, rallies, stage shows etc.

Activity 1. Budgeting for G-20 Travel

You will plan a vacation for 5-7 days at a location of your choice with your family in a budget
of rupees 10 lakhs to member countries of G-20 . You must research the cost of travel, lodging,
meals, activities etc. Submit the report on same in a project file.
Assumptions : Max Members can be 5

Activity 2 : Portfolio Management : Managing Your Innovation Portfolio

The year-to-year viability of a company depends on its ability to innovate. Given today’s
market expectations, global competitive pressures, and the extent and pace of structural change,
this is truer than ever. But chief executives struggle to make the case to the Street that their
managerial actions can be relied on to yield a stream of successful new offerings. Many admit
to being unsure and frustrated.
Typically, they are aware of a tremendous amount of investment and the risk return factor going
on inside their enterprises but don’t feel they have a grasp on all the dispersed initiatives. The
pursuit of the new feels haphazard and episodic, and they suspect that the returns on the
company’s total innovation investment are too low.
To solve the typical management issues one of the methodologies is “Investment Portfolio” –
which will be inclusive of their Capital Investment, Cost of Selling their Output, Margin and
Expected Return.
As a mathematics expert you are required to prepare a project file on companies who have
located themselves in INDIA and draft the portfolio of atleast 5 companies.

Activity 3 : Golden Ratio : An Innovative step towards symmetry

The golden ratio, also known as the golden number, golden proportion, or the divine proportion,
is a ratio between two numbers that equals approximately 1.618. Usually written as the Greek
letter phi, it is strongly associated with the Fibonacci sequence, a series of numbers wherein
each number is added to the last.
In mathematics, two quantities are in the golden ratio if their ratio is the same as the ratio of
their sum to the larger of the two quantities. Expressed algebraically, for quantities a and b with
a > b > 0, {\displaystyle {\frac {a+b}{a}}={\frac {a}{b}}=\varphi } where the Greek letter phi
denotes the golden ratio.
You are required to visit a UN Heritage Site and prepare a report on how golden ratio is an
useful mathematical model to calculate ratio between two numbers that equals approximately
1.618.

A green sport event is a sporting event that stresses utilizing greener resources. Fans can do
their part by riding public transportation to the event. People are being more aware of many
things, like using earth friendly paper products, fertilizer, and pesticides.
The most basic reason to green sports is to help achieve sustainability. Sustainability is based
on a simple principle: Everything that we need for our survival and well-being depends,
either directly or indirectly, on our natural environment. Sustainability creates and maintains
the conditions under which humans and nature can exist in productive harmony, that permit
fulfilling the social, economic, and other requirements of present and future generations.
Sustainability contributes to environmental benefits such as:
• Conserving natural resources helps to preserve biodiversity.
• Protecting and improving air and water quality
• Reducing waste streams
As an Sports Head considering the green initiatives of UNSDG you need to draft a file
organising a Sports Event for G20 Summit incorporating all the necessary features of Green
Sports Management.
