Background: Asthma is a chronic disease of the respiratory tract caused by

certain stimuli that attack the airways, namely the trachea and bronchi.
Narrowing of the trachea and bronchi will cause coughing, wheezing, difficulty
breathing and decreased oxygen saturation
Objective: The Study aimed to describe patient care by administering breathing
relaxation therapy with inflatable balloons to increase oxygen saturation in
asthma sufferers.
Methodology: This research was an analytical descriptive research with a case
Study Approach. The research subjects were 2 Asthma patients. Evaluation of
baton blowing therapy used an average increase in oxygen saturation in 3 days.
Result : The effectiveness of balloon blowing therapy was proven to increase
oxygen saturation in asthma sufferers. The results of the therapy of blowing
batons carried out by researchers for 3 days at Mitra Siaga Hospital in Tegal in 2
Asthma patients showed that the results of the second respondent experienced an
increase in oxygen saturation of around 2-3%.
Recommendation: Patients can be given balloon blowing therapy to reduce
shortness of breath and increase oxygen saturation. Asthma, Breathing Balton
