Having 15 years of working experience in Piping & Layout Engineering, Detailed design for oil & gas
– offshore and onshore projects. Involved in Piping & Layout for various activities such as
preparation of Plot plans, Equipment layouts, Piping arrangement. Review of Equipment vendor
drawings. Preparation of Pipe Rack, Technological structures and platform inputs given for Civil
Department. Preparation of General Arrangement drawings and Nozzle Orientation drawings. Pipe
Modeling activities based on P&ID’s, Equipment Modeling, Structural Modeling, Support Modeling,

Duties and Responsibilities:

 Performed pre-feed validation verification with reference to the PFD, master equipment list,
and basis for design.
 Preliminary studies for major piping and equipment for footprint finalisation of the platform.
 Demonstrated the deck elevation finalisation with dimensions and free draining requirement
piping.
 Review and catch up on BFD requirements for model implementation.
 Preparation of plot plans, equipment layouts, structures by studying process flow conditions.
 Conducting and closing out internal model review & closing out and resolving client Comments
for 30%, 60% & 90% review.
 Preparation of weight control report and preliminary MTO for enquiry.
 Modelling of complete equipment’s such as heaters, pumps. inlet separator, re boilers, storage
tanks, etc.
 Pipe Routing study and Modelling based on P&ID’s and ensure that as per layout requirements.
 Review of Equipment vendor drawings.
 Review and Preparation of vessel cleats drawings.
 Checking of ISO’s and Preparation of BOM.
 Review of IDC drawings.
 Preparation of Unit Plot Plans and Piping GAD’s.
 Review of nozzle orientation as per layout requirement.
 Modelling of Pipe Supports for Critical and Non-Critical lines as per stress isometrics.
 Checking of Special Pipe Supports and standard pipe supports as per the project requirement.
 Coordinating with other disciplines such as structural, instrumentation, electrical,
instrumentation & process regarding clashes and technical queries.
 Providing temporary Platforms for valve access and maintenance of equipment’s.
 Preparation and modelling of Pipe Rack, Technological structures and platform inputs given for
Civil Department.
