ASSIGMENT OF :GOAL SETTING IN TERMS OF
SMART OBJECTIVES.
Fast-food Network: Opening five new stores in khairpur by the end of the 2020 year, 2 in
panjhatti and 3 in each of the neighboring colony(areesha colony,gareeb abad,akhund
muhallah) which covers 75% of the customers needs and generate 70% 0f revenue after 2
years in 2022 .

1.Specific :6ws

Who involved : whole production, selling and marketers.

What I like to accomplish : 75% of the customers need.

Where : khairpur district .

When : start by the end of year 2020.

Which : staff,place and transport .

Why : In order to satisfy the needs of customers and generate revenue of 75% .

2.Measurable :

It is measurable that we are going to cover 75% 0f customers through which we generate 70% of the
revenue.

3.Attainable :

We are opening 5 stores in different colonies of khairpur that will ensure us to cover 75% of customers
and surely it raises our sales by which we generate 70% of revenue.

4.Realistic :

It is real ,though it is challenging but opening 5 shops at different places ease us to accomplish our
targeted task.

5.time-related :

2 years of time which starts from 2021 to 2022.

Example 2:

Overall goal :

I will obtain a job as a high school math teacher within three months after graduating with my Bachelor
of Science in Education.
Specific: The goal of becoming a high school math teacher is well-defined.

Measurable: Success can be measured by the number of applications, interviews and job offers.

Achievable: The goal setter will have the appropriate degree for the job.

Relevant: The goal setter is planning to get a job in the education industry after getting an education
degree.

Time-based: The goal setter has set a deadline to achieve their objective within the three months
following graduation.

Example 3:

Overall goal :

I will earn a promotion to senior customer service representative by completing the required training
modules in three months and applying for the role at the end of next quarter.

Specific: The goal setter has clearly set the objective to be promoted to senior customer services rep.

Measurable: Success can be measured by training module completion, filing the application and earning
the promotion.

Achievable: The goal setter will complete the training necessary to earn the promotion.

Relevant: The goal setter is planning to apply for the promotion after finishing their training modules.

Time-based: The goal setter has set a deadline to achieve their objective at the end of the following
business quarter.

Example no 4 :

overall Goal: I will target my lowest class average in order to raise my overall GPA.

Specific: I want to improve my overall GPA so I can apply for new scholarships next semester.
Measurable: I will earn a B or better on my MAT 101 midterm exam.

Achievable: I will meet with a math tutor every week to help me focus on my weak spots.

Relevant: I'd like to reduce my student loans next semester. Bringing up this low-class average will open
new doors for me.

Time-based: I still have six weeks until midterms. This leaves me plenty of time to meet with a tutor and
decide if any additional steps are necessary.

Example No 5:

Overall personal Goal

Overall Goal: I want to lose weight and be in better health.

S.M.A.R.T. Goal: I will focus on my food habits, and I will begin to lead a healthier lifestyle.

Specific: I will cut down on junk food as a first step toward overall good health.

Measurable : By December, I will only have organic foods and healthy snacks in my pantry.

Achievable: I will see a nutritionist to design a healthy eating plan.

Relevant: This will cure some of my nagging ailments e.g. fatigue, lower back pain.

Time-based: In September I will change my eating habits. In October I will start walking more. By the
holidays, I'll be able to indulge a little without ruining my new healthy habits.
