Internship Program

The Summer School Internship Program is designed to foster intellectual growth,

skill development, and provide industry exposure for participants.

Through a blend of theoretical instruction, hands-on training, and mentorship,

interns will delve into interdisciplinary subjects, gaining invaluable insights and
honing their capabilities in their respective fields.

Objectives:
Facilitate experiential learning opportunities for students to apply theoretical
knowledge to real-world challenges.
Cultivate a collaborative environment that encourages innovation, critical
thinking, and problem-solving skills.
Foster a culture of mentorship, where interns receive guidance from esteemed
faculty members and industry experts.
Promote interdisciplinary collaboration and cross-cultural exchange among
participants.
Equip students with practical skills, professional competencies, and a global
perspective to thrive in today's dynamic workforce.
Summer School ‘24

Summer School’24 - the second edition of the internship program is organised in

collaboration with JKEDI (Jammu & Kashmir Entrepreneurship Development Institute) &
I3C, Indian Institute of Technology Jammu.

The programme, set to operate from two centres in Jammu and Srinagar, will cater to
both school and college students. Its primary objective is to foster intellectual growth,
skill development, and industry exposure in various domains including Artificial
Intelligence and Machine Learning, Data Science, Web and App Development, IoT and
Drones, CAD Modelling, and freelancing skills.

Summer School ‘23

Summer School’23 - the first edition of the internship program was organised in collaboration
with Centre for Essential Skills, IIT Jammu designed to provide an exceptional opportunity for
college and school students to gain practical experience and learning across a range of
domains.

Summer School’23 represented a significant step towards bridging the gap between industry
and academia through interaction sessions with industry experts. This program provided
students with a comprehensive and diverse learning experience that prepared them for future
careers.

Around 350 students registered for various programs and overall we provided a cost-effective
hands-on skill training experience. After the program, many students reached out to express
their gratitude and how Summer School’23 has been a life-changing experience for the
students.
