After Scheduling
You can use AMEB Connect to check whether an examination has been scheduled. Once the date has been
scheduled, it is not possible to arrange alternative dates for practical examinations for any reason other than on
substantiated medical, religious, compulsory school examinations or excursions, verified work-related grounds or
relevant generally recognised days of cultural significance. No other grounds for transfers will be considered.
If a candidate is unable to attend his or her practical examination due to one of the above reasons, an alternative
date may be offered, provided that:
• venues and examiners are available
• a completed Transfer Form (from the forms located under the Teacher Support heading on the AMEB (NSW)
website) must be submitted to AMEB (NSW) no later than five business days after the scheduled examination
date.
If AMEB (NSW) is unable to transfer a regional examination while examiners are still touring that particular area,
candidates requesting a transfer will be required to travel to Sydney.
Medical transfers must include a medical certificate from a registered doctor stating:
• that the candidate is not fit to attend their examination on the scheduled date
• when it is anticipated the candidate will be fit to sit their examination.
AMEB (NSW) reserves the right to contact the doctor to clarify information on the medical certificate.
Other transfers (as outlined above) must include an official letter from the school, workplace or relevant
organisation outlining the reason for the candidate’s inability to attend the examination.
Submit the supporting documentation and payment to the AMEB (NSW) office. Transfer dates may be offered with
minimal notice. Every effort will be made to accommodate transfers, but transfers cannot be guaranteed and
should not be expected.
If a transfer cannot be arranged, the transfer fee will be refunded.
Please note: It is not possible under any circumstances to transfer examinations to the following year.

Extended keysticks
KAWAI K-SERIES.
NEXT GENERATION PIANO
Since 1927, Kawai has embraced state-of-the-art materials
and innovative design to create pianos that are a joy to play
for students, teachers and performers alike. The K-300 builds
on the success of the Kawai K-3, voted ‘Upright Piano of the
Year’ four years in a row by MMR magazine in the USA.
The new K-Series features our Millennium III action with MAJOR SPONSOR
carbon fibre parts many times stronger than wood, which
is virtually impervious to changes in humidity. Energy is
transferred to the hammers with unparalleled efficiency
and, together with extended keysticks, provides power,
precision and nuance for performers of all levels. 2015
