The competition consists of 3 rounds - formal debate, turncoat and shipwreck.

Survive through each round with your witty viewpoints, creative conviction and feisty
arguments!!
Registration details :
- Individual Registration
- Topics will be general- students of all years are welcome

Rules :
Formal debate:
Participants will be randomly paired and each allotted either for or against a
particular topic, hence dividing them into teams of for and against.
All other proceedings will follow that of a conventional debate.
Turncoat:
Post elimination from the formal debate, the participants will be allocated topics.
Participant to turn (change stance from for to against and vice versa) when the bell
rings.
Shipwreck:
Each participant is assigned a morally ambiguous character.
Does your character deserve to be the last one standing on a rapidly sinking ship?
Use your creativity, cunning, argumentation and persuasion to fend for your
character’s life, all amidst the raging storms.

‘Beyond the Conventional’ aims to highlight the unusual and novel
conditions in healthcare that often go unnoticed. The competition
focuses on delving into rare case presentations and enlightening both
the medical fraternity and the student community about the enigmas in
medicine.

A HEALTH CRISIS COMMITEE
