Definitions

 Pop-up: A pop-up book is any book with three-dimensional pages, often with
elements that pop-up as a page is turned.

DEFINITE AND INDEFINITE ARTICLES

In English there are three articles: a, an, and the.

Articles are used before nouns or noun equivalents. The definite article

 The: is used before a noun to indicate that the identity of the noun is known to the
reader. It can be used before a singular or plural noun.
Example: The Eiffel Tower is a stunning monument.
 A/an: is used before a noun that is general or when its identity is not known. There
are certain situations in which a noun takes no article. We use “a” before a singular
noun beginning with a consonant soun. We must use “an” before a singular noun
beginning with a vowel sound).

A city of paradisitic views
An incredible place to visit!
 Adjective: It is a word to describe a thing’s aspect in size, color, shape, age, origin,
purpose or material.

Example: Home of the gyant pyramid of Giza!

 Noun: It is the name of a person, thing, animal, place or idea.

Example: Brazil is an exotic country!

 Preposition: It is a word used to describe the position of a noun or pronoun’s


prepoisition.

Example: CDMX is in the heart of Mexico!
