conditions by taking into consideration environmental impacts
• To improve quality and profitability continually.
• To get superiority to rival companies by cost reducing.
• To supply staffs participation, training and satisfaction.

Standards
• All products are subjected to full routine tests as
described in the relevant standards.
• Type tests can also be performed (except short time current test)
in our own testing laboratories but should be negotiated
during the order stage.
• IEC, BS, ANSI, AS, CSA and other standards on request.

Testing facilities
• Type and routine tests as described in IEC, ANSI, AS, BS, CSA etc. are carried
out (except short time current test for CT’s) at the testing facilities of EMEK, located
in Ankara.
• Testing facilities include apparatus and systems for testing dry and wet
insulation (power frequency & impulse), partial discharge, accuracy, power factor & loss
angle, RIV, artificial ageing and mechanical strength.
• Operation tests of our climatic chamber under severe ice condition and at the
temperature limit -40 / +150 °C are possible.
• Test facilities for transformer oil and insulation paper are also available.
• Tests can be performed between 16 2/3 to 60 Hz.
• Temperature and humidity controlled calibration center is available.

Test Reports
• Despite Emek's testing facilities, our products have also been tested at several
Certificates • Independent Testing Laboratories such as ; KEMA, CESI, VEIKI, ICMET, STRI, IPH...etc
EMEK was granted ISO 9001 certification by the Turkish Standards Institute (TSE). • Upon customer request, we have performed more than 150 Type Tests for our products.
Additionally, EMEK was also accredited with ISO 9001 from Independent Institutes
since 1997. Currently EMEK has ISO 9001:2008 and ISO 14001:2004 certificates from
