The Group of Seven leaders are set to strongly condemn deepening Russia-North
Korea military cooperation at their summit in Italy later this week amid Moscow's
invasion of Ukraine, a diplomatic source said.

2. US Needs Japan's Help to Boost Military Production, Ambassador Says.


The United States needs Japan's help to cope with strategic challenges in Europe and
Asia that are straining its defence industries, the U.S. Ambassador to Japan said as the
countries kicked off talks on military industrial cooperation.

3. Russia Accuses Armenia of Helping Ukraine’s Army. Russia accused


Armenia of helping the Armed Forces of Ukraine through the transfer of medicines to
healthcare facilities.

4. Belarus and Russia to Conduct Joint Nuclear Drills. The exercises are a
reaction to “unsuccessful attempts to drag [Belarus] into an epidemic of color
revolutions and crush us with economic sanctions” and some Western countries' “plans
to use military force against our state,” Belarusian Defense Minister Viktor Khrenin said
in a post on Telegram.

According to Kashmir Media Service, police claim the bus came under an attack by

7. EU Announces €150 Million in Humanitarian Aid for Afghanistan Crisis. In
response to the worsening humanitarian situation in Afghanistan, the European Union
has activated its emergency aid reserve, aiming to avert the risk of famine in the

8. UN Security Council to Vote on Plan for Israel-Hamas Ceasefire. The United


Nations Security Council will vote later on a US-drafted resolution backing a proposal
outlined by President Joe Biden for a ceasefire between Israel and Palestinian militants

9. PKK's New-Tech Missiles Fuel Turkey's Suspicion of Iranian Role. The


Kurdistan Workers' Party (PKK) may have used Iranian-made loitering munition to shoot

11. SBP Slashes Interest Rate to 20.5pc. In a big move, the State Bank of Pakistan

founder Imran Khan has accepted the Supreme Court’s (SC) advice and is ready to
