Good morning, I'm David, I'm studying 4th year of ESO D
and today I want to talk to you about my sports
experiences and what I think about the world of sports.
Since I was little, sports have been fundamental for me,
since they always taught me the importance of sports in my life, it is clear that sports help shape children, create healthy bodies and live healthy lives.
Since I was 7 years old I was very interested in inline
speed skating but at that time I did not have the tools to practice it, when I was 11 years old I began to train and train as a skater, participating in competitions and events in my city and region, each time I advanced more and in 4 years I managed to be in the Colombian national team of inline speed skating category 14 years and won scholarships and recognitions, after a while the opportunities to continue became more and more difficult and I had to leave it.
Personally I prefer individual sports since I like to be
responsible for my results jaja.
From inline speed skating you learn that it doesn't matter
how many times you fall but how many times you get up and also that even if we want to stop, the finish line is where we rest. This sport helped me have a healthy body and gain a lot of strength in my legs.
I also think that perhaps in this sport the opportunities to
go far are very scarce, since being sports with little recognition, practicing it can be quite expensive and the support you receive is not what you deserve.
However, I think that when a person decides to practice a
sport, the most important thing is their desire to do it.
