Theme: Hero and heroines

Level: A2-B1
Age: 15
Duration: 40 minutes
Materials: pen, pencil, workbook
Aims: By the end of the lesson,
 Students will be able to recognize the phrases related to imaginary situations in a
recorded text.
 Students will be able to talk about their personal hero (who he/she is and why he/she is
their hero/heroine).
 Students will be able to write a paragraph imagining themselves as a hero/heroine
while using if clause type two.
 Students will be able to understand about text about heroes and heroines life.

PRE
Aims:
 To motivate the students for the lesson.
 To draw their attention to the subject by showing them a video and ppt
 To make a smooth transition to the topic.
 Students will be able to understand

Procedure: The teacher enters the classroom and asks the students generally what they are
doing, measuring the motivation of the class. Then he tells the students that this time they will
study differently from the textbook. Since students have already entered this topic and
progressed through the topic and textbook, it starts where students left off. As the first
activity, students read three texts containing the lives of heroes with gaps in them. They
complete the text by placing the sentences above in the appropriate gaps and move on to the
next activity.

WHILE
Aims:
 Students will be able to write a sentence about target objective grammar and answer
questions about text.

Procedure: Students do a vocabulary activity in which they match the definitions of bolded
words in the text. Afterwards, students finish the text-based activities by answering open-
ended questions, which are also based on the text.
POST
Aims:
 Students will be able to write a text or a sentence about target grammar objective.
Procedure: Finally, with a writing activity and gamer focus, students finish the lesson by imagining
themselves as the heroes in the texts and writing what they would do if they were heroes.
