3. Rizal on his second trip to Europe

Title: A rare issue La Solidaridad

Description: La Solidaridad was a Filipino


reformist newspaper in Spain that ran from
1889-1895, edited by Graciano Lopez Jaena
and M.H. del Pilar. Rizal wrote for it.

This rare issue with a front-page photograph


of Ferdinand Blumentritt is preserved in the
Cesky Budejovice Archives in the Czech
Republic.

4. Rizal in Dapitan

right-hand corner. Rizal made a raised map of
Mindanao Island on the plaza, to teach their
home geography to the Dapitan people. The
map has been restored by the Insular

Ateneo, Father Francisco de Paula Sanchez,
visited him, they created a relief map of
Mindanao in the [Dapitan] plaza to teach the
people about the island. This would later

the entire country that would be built in Rizal
Park, Luneta.
