3 Methodology
3.1 Participants
The study focused on third-year students because they are at a crucial stage in their
language learning journey, after completing two years of study and preparing to graduate.
Focusing on Foreign Language majors allows for a more targeted analysis of the impact
of AI on language learning within a specific major. HUFLIT was chosen as the research
site due to its reputation for excellence in English teaching and application of innovative
teaching methods.

3.2 Materials
The survey was designed to gather quantitative and qualitative data on the use of
AI software for English language learning.
The quantitative data included questions on the frequency of AI software use, the
specific applications used, and perceived benefits.
The qualitative data included open-ended questions that allow students to share
their experiences and opinions on AI-based learning.

3.3 Limitations of the survey


The study was limited to a specific group of students at HUFLIT.
The findings may not be generalizable to other populations or contexts.
The study relies on self-reported data, which may be subject to bias.
