A NARRATIVE REPORT ON THE CONDUCT OF

SCHOOL-BASED IN-SERVICE TRAINING ON
DLP WRITING USING 7Es

On January 30, 2024 a School-Based In-Service Training of Writing

DLP using 7Es was conducted in Kapatagan East Central School. This
training was attended by all teachers of the school especially the Science
Teachers who will be using the 7Es framework.

The seminar commenced

with an engaging icebreaker
activity to foster a sense of
camaraderie among participants.
Attendees shared their
experiences with lesson planning
and their expectations from the
workshop. This session set the
tone for collaborative learning and encouraged active participation.

As the Science Coordinator of the

School, I was tasked to elaborate the
theoretical foundations of the 7Es
framework. I had provided examples of how
each stage aligns with different learning
objectives and instructional methods.
Participants delved into discussions,
sharing insights on how to adapt the 7Es
model to suit diverse learning styles and
educational settings.

In the final segment, participants reflected on their learning journey

throughout the seminar and identified strategies to enhance their pedagogical
practices. Facilitators emphasized the importance of ongoing professional
development and provided resources for further exploration of the 7Es
framework. Participants departed with a renewed sense of purpose and a
repertoire of tools to elevate their teaching methodologies.

The seminar on writing lesson

plans using the 7Es framework was a
resounding success, empowering
educators to enhance their pedagogical
practices. Through interactive sessions,
collaborative activities, and practical
exercises, participants gained valuable
insights into the application of the 7Es
model in lesson planning across diverse
educational contexts. Armed with
newfound knowledge and inspiration,
educators left the seminar equipped to create engaging, meaningful, and
effective learning experiences for their students.
